How to check a car's service history

A service history is the record of maintenance. A digital manufacturer history is only the part that maker holds electronically.

What you can expect

Where the manufacturer supplies a digital history, the check lists service events such as the date and the work recorded. A stamped book from an independent garage may not appear in that digital file.

If no service records are found, Service X History is not charged.

Using it before you commit

Pair the service check with the free MOT report. Advisories and mileage sit on the MOT record. Service events, when they exist, show how the car was maintained in the manufacturer's file.

Service X History is £5.99. Buying it on this site is not switched on yet.
